I posted this on Facebook last night, but then I realized it might make me look like less of a slacker if I pretended it was a real post.

Hey Velocininjas,

I know I have officially betrayed the weekly schedule I originally set out for myself on this blog. I doubt there's been much of an outcry about this. And, let's be honest, that weekly schedule lasted about three weeks before I started posting way more often. So, really, I'm like eight weeks ahead. Or something.

But don't worry. I plan to go back to far more regular updates by the end of the month. I've just hit a time when everything's piled up at once, as things are wont to do. That's life for a person with several jobs, I'm afraid, and I love all those jobs too much to complain about any of them.

I will, of course, post the results of my Out-of-Context Dialogue contest on Sunday, April 15th. But that will probably be my only post until the end of the month. Though I may sneak attack you with a surprise post. Like a ninja.

  1. Hi--I've been a longtime reader of Unexpected Royalty on Fictionpress and finally got a chance to look at your blog. I love it! I hope your busy schedule will let you come back to us on Fictionpress sometime soon, though. I need Chapter 4 of Unbidden Royalty!

    1. Thank you! I get so excited when my Fictionpress loves visit. I will hopefully post Chapter 4 in the nearish future--just got to get through this current block of busyness.

  2. ninjas are spiffy. jobs, especially more than one that you like... wow. Lucky duck. I'm desperately trying to find a new job, as a tech in a hospital. I'm officially at the point where wiping people's rears is more appealing than what I do. Can't wait for Sunday! Good luck with all :)

    1. I do sometimes forget how lucky I am to have jobs I actually enjoy. But what you do actually helps people! I just write and read all day like a chump.

    2. I'd love to read and write all day. My school life has made for awful habits in the writerly world.
